Reports to: Director of Finance
Location: In office
Summary: Assist the Director of Finance in accomplishing financial duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review credit applications, payment histories, financial information, and trade references
- Communicate with dealers regarding outstanding balances and payment commitments
- Research payments, credits, deductions, disputes, and other account discrepancies
- Conduct new account processing and assist dealers with the transition process
- Maintain clear and accurate records of account activity and collection efforts
- Complete account closure process for identified accounts
- Prepare reports on aging balances, collection progress, and high-risk accounts
- Look for recurring issues and suggest ways to improve processes
- Request and process dealer financial statements
- Process and track monthly fees
- Prepare Accounts Receivable reporting or other identified reporting
- Maintain up-to-date UCC-1 filings
- Assist with banking, including assigning and applying payments
- Ensure all dealer documentation is maintained
- Work with dealers and suppliers regarding sales tax exemptions
- Produce dealers' anticipation schedules and other financial reports
- Ensure organizational communication with appropriate departments and the Director of Finance
- Serve as a liaison for new dealers
- Make recommendations to the Director of Finance
- Provide back-up support
- Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Knowledge of finance procedures preferred
- Knowledge of basic to intermediate math skills
- Knowledge of Word and Excel
- Knowledge of NetSuite or other accounting software
